Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Metrapolis Behavioral Center, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health needs, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
\n
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that effectively address the unique challenges faced by each client.
\n
• Provide both in-person and telehealth therapy sessions, utilizing secure and HIPAA-compliant platforms.
\n
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, employing an integrative approach tailored to clients’ cultural backgrounds.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress within our electronic health record (EHR) system.
\n
• Stay informed of best practices and advancements in therapy techniques, including specialized modalities such as CBT, TF-CBT, and EMDR.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on providing meaningful therapy services to a broad client base, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and ethnic backgrounds. You will be essential in addressing complex issues such as trauma, grief, LGBTQ+ matters, and perinatal mental health, ensuring each client receives respectful and personalized care that reflects their unique cultural needs and values.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
\n
• An active, unrestricted LMFT license in good standing.
\n
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling the provision of bilingual (Spanish and English) psychotherapy services.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating effective work with a diverse clientele.
\n
• Respect for cultural diversity, with the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet unique client needs.
\n
• Proficiency in utilizing EHR software and Microsoft Office applications.
\n
• A valid Driver's License and reliable transportation.
\n
• A commitment to ongoing professional education, including completion of HIPAA training and a desire to enhance short-term therapy skills.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, candidates with the following experiences will be preferred:

• Training in trauma-informed care modalities, such as EMDR or TF-CBT.
\n
• Clinical specialties or interests, including trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, or grief counseling.

• Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms.

Compensation and Benefits\n

Metrapolis Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 105,000 per year, with the potential for performance-based bonuses.
