Accounting Manager

Job Description We are looking for an Accounting Manager to work for our client. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below. Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and support strategic financial initiatives. This position offers a hybrid work environment and the opportunity to partner with leadership while driving accounting excellence across the organization. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, month-end close, and financial reporting.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering professional development and accountability.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Oversee account reconciliations and maintain accuracy of financial records.
- Coordinate audits and serve as a primary point of contact for external auditors.
- Develop and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and reporting procedures.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.
- Partner with operational leaders and executive management to support business objectives.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance requirements are met.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA designation strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices.
- Experience managing month-end and year-end close processes.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
