Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients' mental health status through telehealth sessions, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Collaborate with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that address specific mental health issues and include measurable goals.

• Engage clients in regular therapeutic sessions, providing support, motivation, and resources tailored to their needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapy modalities to manage a diverse range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.

• Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions, treatment progress, and client interactions in the EHR system.

• Refer clients to additional healthcare providers as necessary, working seamlessly with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

• Provide crisis intervention strategies and support in high-stress situations, demonstrating strong problem-solving and decisiveness.

The primary population served at Freedom Trail Counseling Center includes individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma, and substance use issues. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, providing culturally competent care that acknowledges and respects the individuality of each person. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Minimum of four years of professional experience in a clinical setting providing mental health counseling.
\n
• Deep understanding of various mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and the capacity to apply evidence-based practices effectively.

• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, employing culturally sensitive practices that respect clients’ diverse backgrounds.

• Strong crisis intervention skills, with the ability to remain composed and effective during challenging situations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport and trust with clients from a variety of backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and related computer applications.

• A commitment to sustaining professional ethics and maintaining confidentiality in all client interactions.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 and reflects the level of experience and contributions to our organization.
