- Generate customized treatment plans to cater to individual communication, cognitive, and swallowing goals that span over time.
- Deliver focused speech therapy interventions targeting areas such as language, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing proficiency.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams comprising physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, and family members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Equip patients and families with strategies and knowledge to promote progress beyond the therapy sessions.
- Support inpatient evaluations and speech therapy as necessary, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the recovery process.
- Document progress and treatment details meticulously in compliance with state, federal, and industry standards.
- Engage in ongoing education and collaboration with peers to maintain a cutting-edge skill set in your practice.
Education
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
- Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

- State licensure required for the Speech Language Pathologist role.
- Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification needed within the first 30 days of employment.
Skills
- Expertise in evidence-based practices for patients of all ages, with a strong focus on understanding both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing challenges.
- Exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, families, and the broader healthcare team.
- Flexibility to tailor approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to navigate complex clinical scenarios.
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems and adherence to documentation protocols.
Benefits
- Attractive compensation aligned with your level of experience.
- Flexible work schedules promoting a healthy work-life balance and diverse patient load.
- Possibilities for specialization in pediatric, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy.
- Paid time off and holiday pay provided.

A Journey of Growth and Impact Awaits
As you embark on this role, you'll not only provide essential speech therapy but also embrace a mission rooted in community and humanity. Here, you'll become part of a team that values restorative communication, bridging gaps, and creating joy through the art of understanding.
You'll collaborate with fellow clinicians who approach each other as family members, in an environment that champions teamwork and shared success rather than competition. Each patient presents a unique narrative — it's within your hands to help them shape their tale.
