Computer Scientist for AI Model Training [Remote]

Apply your computer science expertise to create, review, and refine high-quality technical inputs that help train and evaluate next-generation AI systems. This remote contractor role focuses on turning real-world domain knowledge into clear documentation, scenarios, and feedback that improve model reasoning, accuracy, and robustness. Prior AI experience is not required, domain knowledge and technical communication skills are what matter.

• Analyze and evaluate computer science problems, solutions, and methodologies to inform AI training data and evaluation tasks.
• Author, critique, and edit technical documentation, including system design documents, research write-ups, and technical papers, to ensure clarity and rigor.
• Develop and review real-world scenarios, datasets, and case studies for use in AI learning workflows.
• Assess technical queries and produce detailed, well-structured responses grounded in best practices and foundational concepts.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to refine task guidelines and optimize data quality and consistency.
• Provide written and verbal feedback to improve model outputs, evaluate AI-driven tools, and support continuous improvement of evaluation processes.

• Required skills and strengths: technical writing, system design, algorithms, distributed systems, databases, artificial intelligence concepts, data analysis, problem-solving, technical communication, collaborative research, editing and reviewing technical documents, critical thinking, providing feedback, and adaptability.
• Preferred education: BSc, MSc, or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience authoring technical papers, system design documents, or research publications is strongly preferred.
• Proven expertise in at least one specialized domain such as algorithms, distributed systems, networking, databases, or artificial intelligence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly for diverse audiences.
• Prior participation in collaborative research, technical reviews, or open-source projects is a plus.

Pay range: $20.00 to $40.00 per hour.
