Director Of Nursing (Don) - Temp To Hire/ Direct HireInterim HealthCare is seeking a compassionate and skilled DON to join our team! This role is temp to hire or direct hire opportunity. The DON will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and health of the residents in an Assisted Living Community in the Crystal area. The ideal candidate will have experience in Assisted Living settings and a passion for providing high-quality care to individuals with disabilities. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!This is a full time salaried position Monday -Friday with minimal on call responsibilities. Salary: $95,000-$110,000 annually Responsibilities:Initiates the development and implementation of policies and procedures that govern the Nursing Services in collaboration with appropriate services.Participates in SNF planning, decision making and policy formulation at management meetings.Maintains regulatory requirements.Engages and support our programs (which may include Assisted Living, Memory Care, and/or other departments.Plans, develops, implements and controls the annual budget for the nursing personnel.Demonstrates knowledge of the geriatric resident and short term stay / rehabilitation programs.Evaluates nursing staff ability to assess and care for residents.Coordinates and directs resident care and education by monitoring care plans and coaching nursing staff to improve the quality of care rendered.Oversees the assessment of all residents and the completion and updating the Minimum Data Sets and Care Plans.Participates in the interviewing, hiring, staffing, coaching and disciplinary actions of Skilled Nursing Facility staff.Supports the Transforming Age Culture of Excellence in all areas of responsibility.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Current unrestricted RN license in the state of Minnesota.At least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.Proven experience with audits, surveys and corrective action planning.Benefits:Health, dental and vision insurance available for full time employees.Earned sick/safe time.Locally owned and operated company.
