Open Rank Administrative & Operations Coordinator (Intermediate Senior) University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Department: Medicine – Transplant Section. Job Summary This position plays a central role in a highly specialized, mission‑driven transplant program. The coordinator supports clinical operations, faculty leadership, and complex program coordination while building skills in scheduling, events, credentialing, and healthcare administration in a collaborative academic environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate complex clinical scheduling across inpatient services, transplant and hepatology clinics, outreach sites, and provider availability. Provide high‑level administrative support to leadership, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and communications. Plan and execute events and educational programming, including webinars, meetings, and faculty recruitment visits. Manage travel logistics and expense processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with policies. Support procurement activities and financial tracking, including purchasing and budget coordination for events and operations. Coordinate provider credentialing and licensure processes, ensuring timely completion and regulatory compliance. Serve as a key point of contact, building strong relationships with faculty, staff, trainees, and external partners. Work Location Hybrid – 4 days per week on the CU Anschutz Campus and as needed for in‑person meetings. Senior Level: Bachelor’s degree in the same fields; two (2) years of professional‑level experience in an administrative or program support setting. Preferred Qualifications Three (3) or more years of experience providing administrative and/or business support in an academic, healthcare, hospital, medical, and/or university environment. Experience in complex scheduling and calendar management. Experience with provider credentialing and licensure processes. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced clinical environment.
