University of Colorado Anschutz Department: Medicine/Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine Job Title: MICU Shift – Open Rank: Instructor, Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Professor Position # 00841611 – Requisition #38290 Job Summary The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine islooking for board certified or board eligible Pulmonary/CriticalCare physicians who will perform clinical services (pulmonary or critical care) on an as-needed basis, fee-for-services on theMedical ICU night shift. Key Responsibilities Inpatient evaluation and management of acute and critically illpatients with complex medical and pulmonary diseases. Staff the Medical Intensive Care Unit and/or Medical SurgicalProgressive Care Unit. Ordering and interpreting tests and evaluations for patientmanagement. Collaborating with consulting services on patientmanagement. Perform invasive procedures with appropriate credentials. Provide cross-coverage for other service lines within theDivision as needed. Support the educational mission of the division. Other duties assigned by the Lead Advanced Practice Providerand/or the Associate Chair for Clinical Affairs. Each in-house night shift is paid at a flat rate of $2,500 per shift.
