Open Rank Business Operations Lead, Business Operations Program Manager - Principal Professional

Role Overview The Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine has an opening for a full-time Operations Administrator at the Principal Professional or Program Manager Level. This role will report to the Division Administrator (DA) and work closely with the DA, Division Head, and other divisional leadership as needed for the operations needs of the Division. Physical space management Process improvement and education Strategic planning and representation Communications and Quality Control Management Requirements Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, business, public administration, health care, educational technology, social science, liberal arts, communications, accounting, finance, library science, or a directly related field from an accredited institution for Principal Professional Level. Three (3) years of professional experience in business operations for Principal Professional Level. Bachelor’s degree as listed above for Program Manager. Four (4) years of professional experience in business operations for Program Manager. A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree on a year for year basis. Five (5) years of administrative experience in healthcare or university setting (preferred). Experience creating, obtaining approval and monitoring budgets (preferred). Experience managing operations for a university division (preferred).Experience providing administrative and technical assistance to faculty and staff within a higher education and/or medical education environment (preferred). Experience with university systems (e.g. Concur, Archibus, Webspace, HCM) (preferred). Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution. Outstanding customer service skills.
