Database Administrator

DBA Position Genesis10 is currently seeking a DBA for a hybrid position (4 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This individual will perform a variety of operational activities including monitoring, event management, service requests, and engineering. The role requires foundational experience in areas such as network, systems, application, and production support to ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability. Responsibilities: Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure Open triage bridge line, update bridge board and engage teams as required Maintain solutions that are aligned to security, redundancy, and archiving blueprints and strategies Support client on boarding Ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability within a technical domain Responsible for event management and request fulfilment Support change activities Write and maintain documentation Requirements: Foundational experience in network, systems, application, access requests, production support, or security engineering Experience with Microsoft Excel Experience with Microsoft Office Experience with Microsoft Outlook Pay range: $46.15 - $54.15 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
