For more information about Eos (NASDAQ: EOSE), visit eose.com.The Buyer I is accountable for completing work assignments as required to meet business demand and accelerate professional development.## Responsibilities* Collaborate with procurement team and designated business unit(s) for purchasing needs* Support procurement activities and projects through data gathering and analysis* Assist in projects to develop solutions to specific problem areas* Support request for quotes as needed* Create, process and track purchasing requests and quotes in ERP or another tool* Manage open purchase orders, troubleshoot issues and report out status* Assist procurement team and accounts payable in invoice reconciliation* Correct discrepancies between purchase orders and supplier invoices in a timely manner* Monitor on time delivery and expedite as required to meet production demand* Performs other job duties as assigned.## Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities* Must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment* High organization skills in managing multiple tasks simultaneously* Must be self-motivated and work well without direct supervision* Must be a provider of excellent customer service* Attention to detail* Identify, analyze and resolve problems in a timely manner* Organize effectively, prioritize and manage time* Work overtime/weekends on an as needed basis* Work and communicate professionally, verbally, and in written form with internal and external customers* Ability to take initiative and drive through to completion* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint* Basic knowledge of ERP systems and reporting* Technical knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes## Education and Experience* High school diploma or equivalent required.* Bachelor's degree preferred.* Minimum of 2 years' experience.## Travel* Overnight/North America: Less than 10%## Working Conditions* Office Environment - Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time and occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
