You will work closely with the Director of Accounting & Finance and serve as a key resource for payroll and accounts payable functions.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the Accounts Payable system and vendor filesProcess invoices, reimbursements, and accounts payable transactionsPrepare and process checks for Greenwood Village SouthEnter resident and community payments into the billing systemPrepare bank deposits and maintain cash tracking recordsAssist with monthly accounts payable close proceduresProcess bi-weekly payroll and ensure accurate payroll recordsServe as the primary contact for employee payroll questions and concernsInvestigate and resolve payroll discrepancies in a timely mannerCollaborate with Human Resources regarding payroll updates and changesAssist with financial statement preparation and audit activitiesLearn resident billing processes and serve as backup support when neededComplete special projects and other accounting-related duties as assignedMaintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial recordsPromote a culture of hospitality, teamwork, professionalism, and accountabilityWhat We're Looking ForQualificationsAssociate degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredMinimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, and general accountingStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience working with accounting and payroll software preferredExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracyHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentialityAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentBenefitsGenerous Paid Time Off (PTO)Paid holidays403(b) retirement plan with company matchHealth, dental, and vision insuranceCompany paid short-term disabilityCompany paid life insuranceFree onsite gym membershipProfessional development opportunitiesOpportunities for advancement within a growing organizationBe a Part of Something MeaningfulAt Greenwood Village South, our hospitality culture extends beyond resident care.
