Production Machine Operator

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCurrently seeking a Production Machine Operator for a full-time temporary to permanent position in Shrewsbury, MAResponsibilities of Production Machine Operator:-Review and interpret batch sheets-Weight and mix chemicals following specifications listed-identify and filter materials into containers following process order instructions and apply correct labels-Calculate total quantity of materials used and lot numbers from individual, intermediates and letdowns-Enter and record various data points into systems-Perform quality control tasks on batchesRe-package materials into new containers-Operate forklifts to move materials throughout production floor.-Perform other related tasks as assignedRequirements of Production Machine Operator-Minimum High School Diploma or GED-Previous Manufacturing Experience required, 2-4 years manufacturing experience Preferred-Previous experience with GD&T or Blue Print reading strongly preferred-Previous Chemical experience preferred-SAP experience preferred but not required-Basic math skills-Ability to move, stand, and walk throughout shift-Superior attention to detail and organizational skills-Able to lift up to 50lbs and move 100lbsHours: 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-FridayPay Rate: $20.00/hr\nCompany DescriptionThe Alpha Group is one of Massachusetts largest privately owned staffing firms.
