Senior Sales Representative

Colonial Iron Doors

Colonial Iron Doors is hiring a full-time Senior Sales Representative to grow new business in the Austin / Metro Area . This role is designed for an experienced sales professional who can prospect, build strong market relationships, manage a pipeline, sell premium custom products, and close profitable business with residential and commercial clients. The Senior Sales Executive will manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, lead qualification, showroom consultations, product presentations, quoting, proposal follow-up, deposit collection, and closing. This role works closely with design, finance, operations, production, project coordination, and installation teams to ensure every order is accurate, properly documented, properly funded, and deliverable under approved company timelines. This is not an order-taking role. The right candidate will actively develop the market, build relationships with homeowners and trade professionals, use the CRM consistently, protect gross margin, and close clean sales that support long-term company growth. Compensation This role includes a base salary , monthly vehicle allowance , uncapped commission , realistic six-figure earning potential for strong producers , and direct support from ownership. Commission is paid on approved, clean, collected sales that meet company margin, documentation, payment, and operational requirements. Responsibilities Sales and Business Development Build relationships with homeowners, architects, builders, designers, contractors, developers, and remodelers. Conduct showroom consultations, customer meetings, jobsite visits, builder visits, and follow-up appointments. Manage the full sales cycle from first contact through quote, proposal, deposit, and closed sale. Prepare, present, negotiate, and close approved sales while protecting company margin and standards. Prospecting and Market Growth Identify and contact new builder, designer, architect, contractor, developer, remodeler, and homeowner opportunities. Visit jobsites, builder offices, showrooms, and active market areas as assigned. Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified opportunities. Track prospecting activity, follow-ups, and next steps in the CRM. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activity. Customer Qualification Understand customer needs, style preferences, project timing, budget, and scope. Provide product guidance for custom steel and wrought iron doors and windows. Review project requirements, drawings, plans, specifications, and measurements as needed. Identify whether an opportunity is standard, custom, complex, commercial, or high-risk. Escalate unusual or complex opportunities for management review. Quoting and Closing Prepare quotes using approved pricing, templates, and company standards. Protect required gross margin. Explain the sales process, payment terms, and next steps clearly. Ensure customer agreements are complete, accurate, and properly documented. CRM and Sales Process Track all leads, opportunities, quotes, notes, follow-ups, and customer communication in the CRM. Maintain accurate pipeline reporting. Follow company response-time and follow-up standards. Support sales forecasting and market planning. Document all material customer promises, expectations, approvals, and next steps. Coordination With Internal Teams Coordinate with design, finance, operations, production, project coordination, and installation teams. Confirm that orders are complete, accurate, properly funded, and operationally feasible before handoff. Ensure delivery and installation expectations are approved before being promised to customers. Support a clean transition from sale to project execution. Qualifications Proven sales experience in B2B, high-end residential, construction, architectural products, building materials, custom fabrication, luxury home products, remodeling, doors, windows, or a related industry. Strong consultative selling skills, including needs assessment, solution presentation, proposal follow-up, negotiation, and closing. Ability to build and maintain long‑term relationships with architects, builders, developers, designers, contractors, and homeowners. Comfort working with technical specifications, drawings, plans, measurements, or custom project requirements. Ability to learn product details and communicate them clearly to customers. Strong CRM discipline and experience managing an active sales pipeline. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow‑through skills. Strong attention to detail. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, and able to manage time effectively in a fast‑paced, project‑driven environment. Valid driver license and reliable transportation. Availability for showroom appointments, customer meetings, builder visits, jobsite visits, and occasional travel within the assigned market. Experience in the Texas market, luxury homebuilding, renovation, custom residential construction, commercial construction, or architectural product sales is a strong plus. This role may be a potential path toward future market leadership. A high‑performing Senior Sales Executive who demonstrates strong clean sales production, market development, CRM discipline, margin control, leadership ability, and operational discipline may be considered in the future for a Market Lead or Market General Manager role as the Austin / Hill Country market grows.
