Head of Sales

Location Onsite PHMG is opening in Tampa, and we’re looking for a Sales Manager (Head of Sales) to help lead the launch. We’ve already built a leadership position in audio branding, with almost 40,000 clients worldwide. Now we’re growing beyond it, with new products designed to help brands create stronger customer connections across every interaction that matters. We’re already established in Chicago and Phoenix, and Tampa is the next step in that North American growth story — a high‑potential market and a big opportunity for the right leader. This is not a role for someone who wants to inherit a settled team and keep things ticking over. It’s for someone who wants to build. To hire well, set the pace, raise standards, create momentum, and shape a high‑performing sales office from the ground up. The Role The Head of Sales leads their inside sales team – the driving force behind our new business growth. You’ll inspire and manage a talented group of Media Development Executives (SDRs) who create qualified meetings and opportunities for our field team. Reporting to the VP of Sales, you’ll bring hands‑on leadership, commercial focus, and the energy to drive consistent, high‑level performance in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll shape a culture of resilience, accountability, and success — ensuring every conversation contributes to our continued global growth. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing SDR/BDR team to exceed booking and conversion targets. Foster a culture of performance, ownership, and continuous improvement. Use data and CRM insights to monitor activity, conversion rates, and overall pipeline health. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Data, and field teams to optimise performance Refine sales messaging, call frameworks, and outreach strategies to maximise efficiency and impact. Recruit, train, and retain exceptional inside sales talent Report trends, insights, and recommendations to the VP of Sales to inform wider strategy. Champion PHMG’s core values – leading by example every day. Ideal Profile Proven success leading SDR/BDR, telesales, or inside sales teams within a B2B or contact centre environment. Hands‑on experience as an outbound sales professional, with the credibility that comes from doing the role yourself. Strong background in high‑volume, contact centre‑style campaigns, understanding the pace, resilience, and energy required. Data‑driven, confident with CRM systems and performance dashboards. (knowledge of Power BI & Salesforce is advantageous) Inspirational leader and coach with the ability to motivate teams and build high‑performing cultures.
