Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient and outpatient settings, creating tailored treatment plans.
• Implement physical therapy interventions focused on enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes.
• Educate both patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise routines.
• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure coordinated care and communication.

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Specialized certifications (e.g., neurological, geriatric) are an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills

• Prior experience in a clinical environment is highly preferred.
