Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings and create personalized treatment strategies
• Implement physical therapy interventions with a focus on mobility enhancement, strength building, balance improvement, and functional recovery
• Work in partnership with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education to patients and their families about treatment goals, discharge processes, and home exercise protocols
• Keep precise records of assessments, treatments, and progress in alignment with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions to support coordinated patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or relevant degree from an approved institution

Certifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: CPR certification
• Additional specialized certifications (neurological, geriatric, etc.) may enhance application

Skills

• Prior experience in a similar setting is highly advantageous
