Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to determine the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms.

• Collaborating closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with their goals and preferences.

• Employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective interventions.

• Educating clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment options, coping strategies, and the importance of self-care practices.

• Regularly monitoring and evaluating client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including but not limited to, depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. You will also extend your expertise to support high-need groups, such as homeless individuals, refugees, and victims of domestic violence. Your empathetic approach will be pivotal in establishing a trusting relationship, guiding clients through their therapeutic journeys while fostering a safe space where they can explore their feelings.
