Trauma Registrar

To support the trauma program, the full-time Trauma Registrar will collect, enter, and maintain data for the trauma registry, ensuring accurate coding and adherence to protocols while generating reports for research and compliance purposes. Key responsibilities Coordinates data collection and uploads patient data information to maintain compliance with departmental and state requirements Generates and develops spreadsheets, graphics, and reports for trauma registry data on a quarterly and annual basis Validates patient data monthly and coordinates findings with the National Trauma Registry for the American College of Surgeons Required qualifications High School diploma or GED Two years of experience in Trauma Registry or three years in a medical clerical setting with six months of ICD-9 coding experience Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
