Senior Accountant job at Strategic Employment. Los Angeles, CA. Senior Accountant – Nonprofit Salary: Up to $85k in base salary + Benefits Location : 5x a week onsite in Silverlake, CA - 9/80 schedule We’re partnering with a well-established nonprofit organization to hire a Senior Accountant . This is a higher-level staff accountant role supporting core accounting functions and playing a key role in audit preparation and execution. This opportunity is best suited for someone who has worked in a nonprofit environment and has been deeply involved in audits, not just assisting, but owning pieces of the process. If you’re a nonprofit accountant looking for a step up into a true senior-level role with strong audit exposure, this could be a great fit. Apply now! Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable) Nonprofit accounting experience Prior audit support at a senior/staff accountant level (hands-on, substantial involvement) Bachelors or Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field required Experience beyond AP/AR (GL-focused role Experience working with external auditors directly Experience in a multi-fund or grant-based environment US Citizens and Permanent Residents are welcome to apply.
