About the Position
TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Tyler, Texas, 75701!
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience required License: Current state or compact nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - Previous charge experience preferred - Travel experience required - Familiarity with the Epic charting system required Description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. This role involves working in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting. The nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care. Patient ratios are typically 1:2. The ideal candidate will have experience with critical care patients. Skills required include management of ventilated patients and administration of IV medications. Experience with advanced procedures such as ECMO and arterial line management is a plus. The unit sees a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. Interdisciplinary support is available, including physical therapy and respiratory services. Candidates should be comfortable with patient monitoring and care of individuals with multisystem organ failure. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for this position.
