Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Neuro Behavioral Center, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions with couples and family members, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
\n
• Developing tailored treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments that address complex family dynamics and mental health issues.
\n
• Facilitating communication between family members to resolve conflicts and enhance relationships.
\n
• Providing crisis intervention and support for clients facing emotional challenges, including grief, loss, job-related stress, and adjustment issues.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and therapy outcomes using our integrated health records system.

• Attending regular team meetings and professional development workshops to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population, which includes:

• Individuals navigating severe mental health challenges related to alcohol abuse, grief, and loss.
\n
• Couples and families struggling with communication barriers, parental conflict, and issues arising from separation and divorce.
\n
• Children and adolescents coping with family transitions such as blended families and the stresses of medical issues.
\n
• Adults facing job stress and other life challenges.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
\n
• A current, active license to practice as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Texas.
\n
• Demonstrated passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality behavioral health services.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working in a community health setting or a behavioral health practice.
\n
• Experience with teletherapy and an understanding of best practices in delivering mental health services virtually.
\n
• Strong clinical skills with a background in family systems therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, or humanistic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
