Physician - Neurology

Overview

We offer flexible working hours with options for part-time or full-time schedules. Here are the choices you can make:

• You can work part-time or full-time (2 to 5 days a week) with 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts.
• You can choose to work one week and then take the next week off.
• This schedule includes working from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Mondays to Thursdays, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm on Fridays, and 4 hours on Saturdays.
• You can also choose to work twelve 10-hour days every 28 days.

In this job, you can choose the type of patients you see and practice to the best of your skills.

You will be doing outpatient EEGs and inpatient EMGs, mainly working without being in a hospital, but you can see patients who need help in the hospital if needed.

There is an on-call rotation where you will only be on call one out of every three days, and you’ll have support from Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).

We welcome partners who want to practice together or new fellows starting their careers.

We have certifications from the American Heart Association and the American Stroke Association for Stroke Centers.

You will have opportunities for weekly training and educational meetings, and we provide 24-hour support from hospitalists and intensivists. You can also teach medical students and advanced practice trainees if you’re interested.

Qualifications

• You must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of finishing your residency) in Neurology. This is a requirement.
• You need to have a license to practice in Ohio or be willing to get one. This is also required.
• You must obtain a DEA license before you start working. Please mention this in your application. No exceptions will be made.
• You should have a clean record with no malpractice issues and a valid license. This is required.
