Work Environment\n

This remote position allows for flexible working arrangements, with regular communication and support from a dynamic team of mental health professionals. This telehealth facility enables counselors to connect with patients virtually, allowing access to care in a comfortable and familiar setting for our clients. While maintaining a work schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, there may be occasional evening shifts required to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to ascertain the specific needs and treatment goals of individuals entering our substance use disorder program.

• Lead group therapy sessions to foster peer support and a sense of community among participants in recovery.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention as needed and support clients in times of substance-related emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families on addiction issues, effective strategies for recovery, and available community resources.

• Maintain impeccably accurate records as per legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a clinical setting, specifically focusing on substance use disorders.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• Demonstrated competency in individual and group therapy practices within the context of addiction treatment.

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a non-judgmental and empathetic attitude towards clients.

• A strong understanding of ethical guidelines, professional boundaries, and patient confidentiality.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable with digital communication tools.

• A collaborative spirit, able to work effectively and harmoniously as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 100,000, with opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
