Work Environment\n

This position operates within a community health clinic setting, allowing you to engage directly with students in schools across the Irvine area. As a therapist, you will have the flexibility of working remotely, ensuring that we meet the diverse needs of students and families. Your working hours will be Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a stable schedule that aligns with the academic calendar.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions to support students facing mental health challenges.

• Develop and implement tailored intervention plans to address emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.

• Provide crisis intervention services to students experiencing acute mental health crises while collaborating with crisis teams when necessary.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with state regulations and ethical standards.

• Work closely with school staff, educators, and families to create a support network for students, ensuring continuity of care and effective communication.

• Promote and encourage trauma-informed practices and evidence-based strategies among school staff and within therapy sessions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on K-12 students who may be struggling with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. This includes anxiety, depression, trauma-related issues, and social skills deficits. By addressing their unique mental health needs, you will empower students to manage emotional stress, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.

• An active state license as a Mental Health Counselor or an equivalent licensure in California is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience.
