The work schedule operates Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with potential for occasional flexibility to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical evaluations to assess clients’ mental health status and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing evidence-based methodologies.

• Implement various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), to aid clients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

• Document all clinical encounters with precision, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated care.

• Engage in case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance the quality of care provided to clients.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health disorders and available treatment options, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Firefly Support Groups, you will work with a varied client base, including individuals coping with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree from an accredited institution in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A valid and active license to practice in California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
