Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing clinical evaluations of clients in the detox center to determine treatment needs and progress.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals, ensuring alignment with recovery goals.

• Provide psychoeducation and support to clients and their families, helping them to navigate the recovery process and access relevant resources.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing, to foster positive behavioral changes.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and treatment progress while adhering to confidentiality and ethical guidelines.

• Engage in regular interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client care and share insights to enhance treatment strategies.

• Stay current on the latest trends and research in mental health and substance use treatment to provide the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary focus of this role is on clients in various stages of detoxification from substances, including alcohol and drugs. You will work with individuals who are experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms and are seeking to establish a foundation for recovery. Your supportive role will be crucial as many clients may also be grappling with co-occurring mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, or trauma history, requiring a compassionate and comprehensive approach.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license valid in the state of Virginia.

Compensation and Benefits\n
