Role Overview Provides direct patient care in an acute care setting, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, following nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educates on illness management, and ensures safety and quality compliance. Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, considering patient preferences and cultural needs. Uses critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, maintaining alertness in a safety-sensitive environment.
