Located near Kenner, LA, this position runs from August 3, 2026 to May 26, 2027, offering a consistent 35-hour workweek and the opportunity to make a genuine impact in a friendly and supportive educational environment. In this position, you’ll earn between $34 and $40 per hour, paid on a W2 contract, while working closely with dedicated colleagues and receiving strong support from both the school district and agency.

What you bring:

• Current valid teaching license with Special Education certification (or eligibility for certification)
• Previous experience in a K-5 special education setting is highly desired
• Ability to effectively deliver specialized instruction and interventions based on student IEPs
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning environment

Key responsibilities:

• Provide direct instruction and resource support to elementary students on your caseload
• Implement IEP goals, monitor student progress, and adapt materials as needed
