RecruiterThe Recruiter works closely with all departments to determine hiring needs and help develop staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.Basic Functions And General Responsibilities:Collaborate with program leadership to determine job vacancies – maintain staffing spreadsheet.Source applicants through databases, online forums, social media, etc.Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.Ensure all required employment screening are processed according to agency policy.Attend and host job fairs to recruit qualified talent.Establish and maintain regular contact, with local colleges, universities and high schools to promote career opportunities in I/DD field.Asses applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions. Ensure personnel files are set up according to agency and regulatory guidelines.Enter new hire information into agency database.Ensure new hire documents and onboarding is completedThe ability to effectively and efficiently use computers or mobile devices to input, access, modify, or output information. This includes the ability to quickly access, store and retrieve data.Stay up to date on current employment legislation and regulations.All Other Duties as AssignedPhysical ExpectationsThis position requires extended periods of sitting with some periods of walking and standing. It may also require bending, kneeling, and/or stooping and climbing stairs. An individual in this position may need to drive a vehicle to resources in the community. There may be extended periods of using a computer and/or calculator.Working ConditionsOffice/home environment with noises from office equipment, telephones, etc. May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens and/or infectious diseases.QualificationsOne to two (1-2) years of recruiting experience preferred.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferredHighly developed communication skills and the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of stakeholders.Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking software or other recruitment systems.Ability to speak effectively before groups.Working knowledge of employment law and legislation.Current driver's license with acceptable driving record and access to reliable transportation to conduct visits to multiple sites plus attend community meetings.Ability to manage time effectively and maximize efficiency.Must Receive Seasonal Flu VaccinationEqual Opportunity Employer
