Step into an important role supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026–2027 school year. This contract position offers the opportunity to work full-time in a vibrant educational environment, delivering direct and indirect speech and language therapy to a caseload of approximately 40 students. You’ll collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to create positive learning outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active Texas SLP license (required)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred
• At least some school-based SLP experience, especially with elementary-aged students, is strongly favored
• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop IEP goals, and provide effective therapy services
• Possess excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Reliable transportation and on-site availability for a full-time (40 hours/week) commitment, with no SLPAs or part-time candidates considered

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy and interventions for a diverse elementary school caseload
• Conduct speech and language assessments and contribute to the development and implementation of IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to maximize student progress
• Maintain thorough records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state guidelines
• Actively engage in team meetings and ongoing communication within the school community

Assignment Details:

• Full 2026–2027 academic year (August 4, 2026 – May 21, 2027)
• Onsite, elementary school setting with access to necessary resources and support
