Manager, Business Management (TIAA Wealth and Advice - Chief Administrative Office)

Business Management The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic support for the assigned business area. Under minimal supervision, this job executes strategic business management consulting to leaders by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being a point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. Key Responsibilities and Duties Generates complex metrics and drafts and reviews reports in assigned functional business area to inform decisions on tactical issues that impact the business. Implements policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy. Implements process improvements in the assigned business area. Analyzes and reports on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics. Supports business management projects by documenting risks, issues and action items. Drives meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives. Educational Requirements University (Degree) Preferred Work Experience 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred Physical Requirements Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work Career Level 7IC Additional Information for Job Posting This role serves as Manager, Business Management to help provide partnership support to the Wealth Management and Advice Chief Administrative Office. 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred with the following skills: Professional Skills Self-starter with ability to work independently and think critically Excellent project management capabilities for complex, large‑scale initiatives Demonstrated business performance measurement experience Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, changing environment Strong tolerance for ambiguity while maintaining focus on results Communication & Influence Superior written and oral communication skills Ability to distill complex information into clear, concise content for all levels Demonstrated skill in influencing senior leadership Effective development and delivery of key messages Interpersonal Qualities Strong relationship building across all organizational levels Collaborative approach within geographically distributed teams Strategic thinker who effectively navigates cross‑functional environments Commitment to continuous improvement Technical Requirements Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams) Benefit if the candidate has experience with Canva and MyGAIT Character & Work Ethic Highest integrity and professional standards Discretion with sensitive information Adaptability and flexibility in changing business environments Location Hybrid Flex: position not fully remote but allows some flexibility. Associated with Charlotte, NC or Frisco, Texas. Benefits Base Pay Range: $80,500/yr - $108,000/yr.
