RN Cardiology Clinic Nurse

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiology Clinic provides professional nursing care to patients following established standards and healthcare techniques. The role involves assisting providers in patient care and education, making professional judgments, and actively participating as a member of the healthcare team to coordinate patient care with patients, families, and caregivers. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification meeting American Heart Association standards.
• Knowledge of nursing principles, patient care, diagnostic and treatment procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly and follow physician instructions.
• At least one year of nursing experience preferred.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:

• Familiarity with ICD-10 and CPT coding guidelines.
• Experience in cardiology or specialty clinic nursing.
• Ability to prioritize and make confident quick decisions in patient care situations.

Special Considerations:

• Must remain calm and effective during emergencies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment.
