Coffee Distributing Corp, a division of Canteen (Compass Group), is looking for a diligent, detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our dynamic team! This is a fantastic opportunity for an accounting professional who's passionate about supporting exceptional hospitality operations through accuracy, organization, and strong vendor relationships.

About the Role

This role is heavily focused on Accounts Payable, where you'll be at the heart of keeping our financial operations running smoothly. You'll work closely with vendors, internal teams, and the SAP system to ensure invoices are processed accurately and efficiently, supporting the broader success of our business.

What You'll Do

• Manage Vendor Communication: Reach out to vendors to obtain invoice copies and statements, and research short pays, no pays, and other discrepancies.

• Process High-Volume Invoices: Handle a heavy volume of invoices and credit/debit memos using the SAP system.

• Ensure Accuracy & Compliance: Review invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.

• Support Month-End Close: Assist with month-end close entries, including accruals.

• Maintain Organized Records: Keep reports, spreadsheets, and files up to date, including invoice filing.

• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Coordinate with internal resources to ensure timely invoice processing.

• Analyze Vendor Accounts: Prepare vendor account analyses to support financial accuracy.

• Provide Front-Desk Support: Serve as backup to the receptionist role as needed.

What You Bring

• Educational background in Accounting, or a minimum of 2 years of office-related work experience.

• Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.

• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently with a deadline-driven mindset and a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
