Position Overview: We are seeking dependable and detail-oriented Light Assembly Technicians for full-time 1st shift manufacturing opportunities in Fairview, PA. This position involves assembling small to medium-sized components according to established work instructions, specifications, and quality requirements. Light Assembly Technicians will perform hands-on assembly, inspect components, package completed products, and help maintain an efficient production workflow. The ideal candidate has good hand-eye coordination, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing consistent, quality work. Previous assembly or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts and components according to work instructions and product specifications
• Perform light assembly operations using established production procedures
• Position, fit, and secure components accurately
• Use basic hand tools and small power tools to complete assembly operations
• Visually inspect parts and completed assemblies for defects or inconsistencies
• Verify completed products meet established quality requirements
• Follow production schedules and work toward established daily output goals
• Package and prepare finished products as required
• Identify and report defective components, material shortages, or production issues
• Maintain an organized supply of components and materials at the workstation
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Work cooperatively with production, quality, and supervisory personnel
• Follow established work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous assembly, production, or manufacturing experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and product quality
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Good manual dexterity
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks accurately
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Willingness and ability to learn new assembly processes

Preferred Skills:

• Previous light assembly experience
• Manufacturing or production experience
• Familiarity with hand tools and small power tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude
• Experience visually inspecting manufactured components
• Packaging and finished-product experience
• Ability to recognize basic product defects
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Experience in Helicoiling, Pinning, and Leak testing

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods
• Good manual dexterity for handling small and medium-sized components
• Good corrected vision for detailed assembly and inspection work
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements
• Ability to bend, reach, push, and pull as required
• Ability to lift and move approximately 2535 lbs as needed
• Ability to safely use hand tools and production equipment
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment
