Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity dedicated to supporting students with special needs in an onsite, full-time role beginning September 8, 2026, through June 17, 2027. This position offers five openings and is essential for those passionate about making a meaningful difference in education.

You'll be working with either of the following caseloads:

• Behavior Classrooms: Engage with elementary students exhibiting significant behavioral challenges, including physical aggression and elopement. A strong background in managing and supporting these behaviors is essential.
• High Volume Learning Resource Classrooms (LRC): Lead a resource classroom with a typical caseload averaging 43 students. Prior experience successfully managing high-volume environments is required.

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active Special Education Teacher certification/license in Oregon
• Demonstrated expertise in either elementary behavioral support or high-volume LRC management
• Availability for full-time onsite work (37.5 hours per week) during the school year
• Ability to provide contact information for your three most recent supervisor references (mandatory for consideration)
• Commitment to supporting diverse learning needs and promoting inclusive educational practices

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with disabilities, tailoring strategies to behavioral and academic needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and collaborate effectively with classroom staff, service providers, and families
• Maintain detailed records and contribute to data-driven interventions and progress monitoring
• Foster positive, productive classroom environments conducive to learning and growth
