Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into an impactful contract opportunity supporting students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming school year. Beginning September 8, 2026, and concluding on June 17, 2027, this full-time, onsite role (37.5 hours/week) offers the chance to work with a dynamic and dedicated team committed to fostering inclusive and effective learning environments.

There are five open positions available, focusing on diverse caseloads:

• Behavior Classrooms (Elementary): Applicants must bring strong, hands-on experience working with elementary-aged students displaying behavioral challenges, including responding to physical aggression and elopement.
• High Volume LRC (Learning Resource Classroom): Seeking educators experienced in managing larger caseloads—an average of 43 students—while maintaining the highest educational support standards.

Candidates must be ready to immerse themselves in a collaborative onsite setting and demonstrate a commitment to recognizing each learner’s unique strengths and needs.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Active and valid Oregon Special Education certification/license
• Recent, relevant experience in behavioral or high-volume classroom settings
• Proven ability to provide interventions for students with significant behavioral or learning needs
• Required: Contact information for three most recent supervisors—no exceptions
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on teamwork and rapport-building

Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and delivering individualized instructional and behavioral support plans
• Collaborating closely with colleagues, support staff, and families
• Monitoring and documenting student progress; adapting strategies as needed
• Maintaining a positive and safe classroom environment for all students
