We are seeing a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team in the Minnesota Market.The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across all departments, including retail, cultivation, production, and corporate roles. This role plays a critical part in scaling our team, supporting hiring managers, and ensuring candidates have a positive and professional experience from first contact through onboarding. This position will also help develop recruitment strategies aligned with our growth and values.Key Responsibilities:Full-Cycle RecruitmentManage the full recruitment process for open roles: job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer managementPartner with hiring managers to define role requirements, timelines, and hiring strategyCoordinate interview schedules and maintain communication with candidates throughout the processCandidate Sourcing & Employer BrandingUse multiple channels to identify and attract qualified candidates, including LinkedIn, Indeed, and industry job boardsPromote MN Cannabis Services employer brand through job descriptions, social media, and candidate engagementAttend local hiring events or virtual career fairs as neededCompliance & DocumentationEnsure hiring practices are consistent with state cannabis laws, labor laws, and internal policiesMaintain accurate candidate records and reports using an applicant tracking system (ATS)Conduct background checks and assist with onboarding documentationHiring Process OptimizationSupport continuous improvement of the hiring process, including interview templates, candidate assessments, and reportingAnalyze recruitment metrics and share insights with TA LeadershipOnboarding SupportCollaborate with HR, Field Operations and Department Leaders to ensure smooth onboarding for new hiresHelp introduce new employees to company culture, policies and key contactsQualifications:Must be willing to work 100% on-site in our Edina Headquarters2+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition, preferably in a high growth industryPrevious experience in Sales, Retail, Customer Service or Hospitality recruitmentWorking knowledge of full-cycle recruiting best practices and employment lawProficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft OfficeStrong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple open roles and priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of professionalism, discretion, and integrityMust be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the cannabis industry under state lawBenefits and Compensation:Pay range of $50,000 - $65,000 annually commensurate with experienceHealth, Dental and Vision insurance.Free Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Paid Sick Leave (PSL).Holiday Pay for anyone working New Years Day, 4/20, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.At Minnesota Cannabis Services, we believe great teams are built on trust, initiative, and follow-through.
