Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical capabilities and limitations, followed by the formulation of individualized treatment plans that align with their health goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modality applications, to treat musculoskeletal pain and facilitate functional recovery.
• Monitor patients' progress throughout their rehabilitation journey, making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols to maximize recovery efficiency.
• Educate patients on the best practices for physical health, offering guidance on home exercises, lifestyle modifications, and injury prevention strategies.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans meticulously in our electronic health record system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to create a cohesive and comprehensive care plan designed to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with adult and elderly patients who are dealing with a variety of orthopedic conditions including but not limited to post-surgical recovery, sports injuries, arthritis, and chronic pain syndromes. Your expertise in evaluating and treating these specific conditions will directly influence their rehabilitation success and return to normal activities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida, adhering to the regulatory standards set forth by the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy, with demonstrated proficiency in treating orthopedic conditions.
• Extensive knowledge of orthopedic evaluations, treatment modalities, and rehabilitative practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health record systems to enhance documentation and interdisciplinary communication.
• Familiarity with outcome measurement tools to track patient progress and program effectiveness.
• Participation in continuing education relating to advanced orthopedic physical therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skills.
