Work Environment

This position is located onsite within our outpatient clinic, offering a supportive and collaborative team environment. Our facility is designed for comfort and functionality, with modern equipment that enables therapists to provide effective treatments tailored to each patient's needs. Working Monday through Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, you will enjoy a balanced schedule that fosters a strong work-life harmony while dedicating your efforts to patient success.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized patient care, crafting tailored treatment plans that align with each patient's specific goals and needs.
• Manage a reasonable caseload, ensuring each patient receives comprehensive attention and time throughout their therapy sessions.
• Leverage your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care by employing various therapeutic techniques to facilitate patient recovery and healing.
• Implement cost-effective treatment methodologies that emphasize restoring range of motion and improving mobility while reducing dependence on medications.
• Develop thorough care plans that incorporate diverse treatment strategies including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and patient education.
• Design and customize fitness and wellness programs tailored to the unique requirements of your patients.
• Utilize evidence-based intervention techniques to deliver the highest standard of personalized care.
• Monitor patient progress, continuously evaluating treatment outcomes and making adjustments to therapy plans as necessary for optimal results.
• Document all treatments and outcomes in electronic medical records (EMR), particularly using WebPT for accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their recovery journeys, fostering a supportive environment that promotes wellness and motivation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus will be on outpatient therapy clients, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, sports injuries, and conditions requiring rehabilitation. Our diverse patient population ranges from athletes seeking performance enhancement to older adults requiring mobility support. Your expertise will significantly contribute to their recovery and rehabilitation, making a positive impact on their daily lives.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Possess an active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, free from sanctions or board proceedings.
• Showcase mastery in various manual therapy modalities and the ability to develop effective exercise programs.
• Familiar with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, enhancing documentation and patient management processes.
• Commitment to staying updated with the latest developments and research-supported techniques in physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in outpatient clinics, particularly in orthopedic therapy.
• Demonstrated success in designing and managing patient-specific treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits
