Work Environment

You will work in an onsite outpatient office environment, equipped with advanced therapeutic tools and technologies to aid in the evaluation and treatment of patients. Our collaborative culture emphasizes teamwork, respect, and open communication among clinicians, patients, and their families. The work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, providing a balanced professional life.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients, which include collecting pertinent medical histories, performing standardized assessments, and developing individualized treatment plans based on patients' unique needs and goals.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic interventions and modalities as outlined in treatment protocols and adjust as needed based on ongoing patient assessments and feedback.
• Document all patient interactions accurately and timely, including evaluation results, treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
• Engage in clinical collaboration with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care, including discussing complex cases, modifying treatment approaches, and maximizing patient outcomes.
• Participate in case reviews and facility meetings as required, contributing to the continuous improvement of patient care practices and organizational efficiency.
• Guide and support patient education regarding exercise regimens, home care strategies, and injury prevention techniques to foster patient independence and long-term health maintenance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily consists of individuals dealing with a range of orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain syndromes, and age-related musculoskeletal disorders. As a Physical Therapist, you will be at the forefront of facilitating patient recovery and rehabilitation, helping them regain mobility and improve their functional abilities.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position, demonstrating a comprehensive educational background in physical therapy principles and practices.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia, ensuring adherence to state-specific regulations and standards.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association, ensuring readiness for emergency situations that may arise within a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

Minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, with a strong focus on orthopedic outpatient services preferred. This experience should include a robust background in implementing evidence-based treatment plans and collaborating effectively with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams.

Compensation and Benefits
