Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Richmond rehabilitation facility, which is designed to support innovative therapy techniques and collaborative patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients referred by physicians, assessing their physical capabilities and limitations.
• Develop, implement, and adjust personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise programs, and modalities, to help alleviate pain and restore function.
• Monitor and document patient progress, modifying treatment strategies as necessary to achieve optimal results.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide guidance on exercises and rehabilitation techniques to support recovery at home.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient care and ensure a well-rounded approach to treatment.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
• Strive to meet utilization goals and enhance service delivery through exceptional patient interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your caseload will include a diverse range of patients, from orthopedic and pediatric cases to individuals recovering from neurological impairments and sports-related injuries. Your ability to adapt treatment methods to the unique needs of each patient will be crucial in fostering their recovery journey and improving their overall functionality and quality of life. You will also enjoy building long-term relationships with patients, guiding them through their physical rehabilitation processes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an ability to connect effectively with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation and communication.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine desire to positively impact patient lives.

Preferred Experience

• Two years of clinical experience in physical therapy, particularly in a rehabilitation or outpatient setting.
• Graduate from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is preferred.
• Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is highly regarded.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
