Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions to develop tailored treatment plans that address specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement treatment protocols that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, stretches, and the use of specialized equipment designed to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Maintain ongoing documentation of treatment sessions, patient progress, and outcomes to facilitate effective communication within the healthcare team.
• Regularly reevaluate and adjust treatment methods to better meet the evolving needs of patients.
• Educate patients and their families about therapies, exercises, and the use of assistive devices, while also training other healthcare personnel on support techniques.
• Engage in continuous learning through workshops, seminars, and peer networking to stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role primarily involves working with a diverse clientele, including adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, younger patients addressing developmental conditions, and elderly individuals managing chronic disability. Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid and active license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Virginia.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of experience as a physical therapist is required, we are particularly interested in candidates who have been involved in multidisciplinary teams and possess a background in patient education. Prior experience in a rehabilitation facility or similar setting is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year , commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
