Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Richmond facility, which features advanced rehabilitation equipment and a welcoming atmosphere designed to support our patients on their journey to recovery. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, with shifts either starting at 7:00 am or 8:00 am, concluding at 3:30 pm or 4:00 pm. Our outpatient clinic thrives on teamwork and mutual support among healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, individualized care to patients, assessing their unique goals and needs to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Manage a reasonable patient load while ensuring that each patient receives dedicated time and attention during their sessions.
• Apply your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, guiding patients through various therapy modalities and exercises specific to their conditions.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques and cost-effective treatments to enhance clients' mobility, reducing the need for surgical interventions or medication reliance.
• Regularly monitor and analyze treatment progress, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Encourage and motivate patients through their rehabilitation journey, celebrating their milestones and supporting them holistically.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, fostering an interdisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Maintain diligent documentation using EMR software, specifically WebPT, to ensure accurate record-keeping and communication among the care team.

The Beyond Therapy Center primarily serves an outpatient population, including athletes recovering from injuries, individuals with chronic pain, and elderly patients working on mobility and balance. Our diverse patient demographic requires therapists to adapt treatments tailored to various ages, activity levels, and recovery goals, allowing each therapist to thrive in a collaborative environment that values personalized care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program and possession of a valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia.
• A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Proven ability in manual therapy techniques and proven success in developing and implementing effective exercise programs.
• Strong familiarity with evidence-based physical therapy practices, ensuring a high standard of care.
• Ability to effectively utilize EMR systems, particularly WebPT, for accurate documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Two or more years of direct experience in outpatient orthopedic settings.
• Experience working with specific populations such as athletes and geriatric patients.
• Continuing education or advanced certifications in specialized therapy techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The selected candidate can expect a competitive salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement savings plans, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
