Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our modern Rehabilitation Center located in Richmond, Virginia. Here, you will be part of a dynamic orthopedic team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Our facility is designed to facilitate collaboration among healthcare providers, ensuring a cohesive approach to treatment. Weekly scheduled hours will amount to approximately 40 hours, with some weekend work expected to accommodate patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive examinations and evaluations of patients to identify functional limitations and establish effective treatment plans.
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide consultation on each patient's continuum of care and collaboratively develop comprehensive rehabilitation strategies.
• Maintain active communication with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, ensuring adherence to our customer service standards.
• Implement and assess patient treatment plans, ensuring documentation aligns with professional standards and legal requirements, including interpreting findings and developing clear discharge plans.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, contributing expertise to improve patient outcomes and ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments, evaluations, and associated charges for services provided, while complying with all regulatory guidelines.
• Engage in leadership initiatives that promote community outreach, continuous quality improvement (CQI), and effective marketing of our services.
• Attend staff meetings and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance competency and share knowledge within the team.
• Supervise assigned support staff and manage department resources efficiently to maximize service delivery.
• Collaborate with family members and caregivers to involve them in treatment discussions and discharge planning.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at True Solutions, you will serve a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, managing chronic pain, and overcoming mobility challenges. Your approach will be patient-centered, focusing on personalized care that encourages active participation from patients and their families in the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy and BLS certification are mandatory.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration and patient interaction.
• Proficiency in using word processing software and electronic medical record systems is required.
• A commitment to maintaining good standing with regulatory boards and compliance with all applicable regulations.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly in orthopedic care, is highly favored. Familiarity with contemporary physical therapy modalities and evidence-based practices will be advantageous in delivering effective therapies.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
