Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Heal & Revive Chiro Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans geared toward maximizing patient capability and restoring functional independence.
• Conducting comprehensive assessments of clients' mobility and physical function through advanced diagnostic testing.
• Providing direct physical therapy services in line with physician-prescribed treatment, which may include manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Evaluating the home environment and recommending modifications to enhance patient safety and support independence.
• Supervising and mentoring Physical Therapy Assistants in delivering high-quality therapy services.
• Maintaining accurate clinical records, including OASIS documentation, care plans, and progress notes, ensuring they reflect the patient's condition and therapy response.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to align and enhance treatment protocols and patient outcomes.
• Coordinating with physicians, care managers, and other health professionals to optimize each client's care experience.
• Providing education and guidance to clients and their families on rehabilitation processes and device usage.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population primarily consists of individuals with diverse rehabilitation needs, including post-operative recovery, chronic pain management, and mobility impairments due to various health conditions. Your expertise will not only help in physical recovery but also support mental well-being, enabling patients to regain confidence in their abilities and independence.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must have:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid physical therapist licensure in good standing for the state of Virginia.
• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance.
• A strong commitment to upholding clinical excellence and fostering a patient-centered approach.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills for effective patient and family engagement.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the ideal candidate will also bring:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A minimum of one year's experience in a physical therapy role, preferably in acute care or a home care setting.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time role offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
