Work Environment

This position requires working onsite in a clinical environment where you will interact directly with patients in one-on-one sessions, ensuring that each individual receives focused, personalized therapy. You will have the opportunity to utilize your clinical skills in a dynamic setting dedicated to ongoing education and professional growth. Your work week will predominantly be Monday to Friday, with flexible shift options available from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm or 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to accurately identify functional impairments and develop customized treatment plans.
• Deliver intense, patient-focused therapy sessions that emphasize evidence-based practices designed to enhance mobility and overall performance.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and targeted exercise programs tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive care, integrating feedback and insights from various specialties.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary, and maintaining detailed documentation using WebPT EMR Software.
• Champion non-invasive treatment strategies, aiming to reduce reliance on medications and promote patient engagement in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient demographic, primarily focusing on individuals with orthopedic injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will be responsible for developing effective therapeutic relationships that empower patients, encouraging them to actively participate in their healing processes and regain their optimal level of functioning.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess an active state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia with a clean professional background.
• Experience in orthopedic outpatient settings is essential, along with demonstrated ability in manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.
• Proficiency with WebPT EMR Software or similar electronic medical records systems is preferred.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a sports medicine setting or home care rehabilitation is advantageous.
• Expertise in specific therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation protocols for joint and soft tissue injuries.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
