Situated in Richmond, Virginia, our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility offers an expansive 5000 square feet dedicated to sports medicine and physical therapy. With a commitment to high-quality patient care, our practice primarily serves individuals with commercial insurance and private pay patients, fostering an environment of healing and support.

Work Environment

Our facility operates onsite, where our physical therapists collaborate closely in a team environment of like-minded professionals. As part of a small team of three physical therapists, you will benefit from a supportive workplace culture that promotes both teamwork and individual expertise. Flexible working hours are available, with a typical schedule running Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical condition and establish individualized treatment plans based on evaluation outcomes.
• Provide one-on-one physical therapy sessions, dedicating 40 minutes per patient, to ensure focused and effective care.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and strengthen physical function.
• Develop tailored fitness and wellness programs that address specific patient goals.
• Document and track patient progress, ensuring that data and care services are accurately recorded in our Athena Health EMR system.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, promoting a proactive approach to health and recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care network for patients.
• Consult with patients regarding their progress and make necessary adjustments to their treatment plans.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyle practices that enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and overall coordination.
• Reduce reliance on medications and provide alternatives to surgical interventions whenever possible.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including recreational and competitive athletes requiring rehabilitation for strength, balance, and mobility. Our patients also include individuals recovering from surgeries or injuries seeking physical therapy to regain full functionality. The patient-focused approach at Gotham Enterprises Ltd ensures personalized and engaged treatment for optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy. An MS or DPT degree is preferred.
• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy is required.
• At least two years of professional experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to manage patients with diverse personalities effectively.
• A current understanding of treatment practices and a commitment to lifelong professional development.
• Exceptional interprofessional collaboration and professional demeanor.

Preferred Experience

Ideal candidates will possess prior expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation settings, with a focus on evidence-based practices and approaches tailored to individual patient needs. Experience with EMR systems, particularly Athena Health, will be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Full benefits include:
