Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in an orthopedic clinic setting, identifying individual needs and developing customized treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques such as exercise programs, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education to help reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress accurately using state-of-the-art EMR systems to ensure continuity of care and facilitate communication with other healthcare providers.
• Reassess patients regularly and modify treatment plans based on individual progress and response to therapy, ensuring ongoing alignment with therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment protocols and preventative strategies to facilitate long-term wellness and self-management.
• Assist in training new team members and contribute to ongoing staff development through knowledge-sharing and participation in workshops and professional learning opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from a range of orthopedic issues, including postoperative rehabilitation from joint replacements, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Our goal is to empower clients—from children to adults—to regain their independence and improve their physical abilities through personalized therapy. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing functional limitations and guiding patients through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution is required.
• Current state license and certification in Physical Therapy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ensuring clarity in patient interactions and documentation.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical records systems.
• Highly adaptable and a strong problem solver, ready to meet the challenges presented in patient care.

Preferred Experience
