Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Northern Virginia, where you will work within a multidisciplinary team of therapists, physicians, and nursing staff. Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the therapy team and facility staff to design and implement personalized treatment plans that address the specific needs of each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation goals and the therapeutic process, providing support to empower them in managing their recovery.
• Conduct facility-wide in-services aimed at enhancing understanding of treatment modalities and therapy services among staff.
• Engage actively in Care Plan Meetings, providing assessments and insights into patient progress while contributing to multidisciplinary care strategies.
• Ensure meticulous documentation of therapy sessions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to regulatory and compliance standards.
• Work closely with the supervising Physical Therapist to ensure continuity of care throughout the rehabilitation process, adapting interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation center caters to a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. As a Physical Therapist, you will apply your expertise to develop comprehensive rehabilitation programs for individuals of different age groups, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and enhancing their functional independence.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Current PT licensure in good standing in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification.
• A valid driver's license and automobile insurance are necessary for the position.
• Strong commitment to clinical excellence, with an emphasis on teamwork, integrity, and quality care.
• Proven interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients and families.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or similar rehabilitation setting is advantageous, although not mandatory.
• A creative thinker with a passion for ongoing education and staying current with best practices in the field.
• Aptitude for understanding and interpreting federal, state, and regulatory agency mandates that govern physical therapy practice.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package.
